Ephphatha is Aramaic for “be opened” and refers to Jesus healing the deaf man’s ears (see Mark 7:34). The Camino de Santiago is a pilgrimage through Spain, ending at the Cathedral shown above. This spot is said to contain the relics of Saint James the Apostle. Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims travel this route each year. |
